Players Equipment

  1. Jewelry: No jewelry of any type is allowed and no taping of earrings will be excepted (removing new earrings for one hour has been deemed safe by dermatologists). Only rubber bands or scrunches are allowed to be worn in hair.
  2. Zippers or snaps on clothing are strictly prohibited.
  3. The District has determined that shorts, pants or sweatshirts with pockets are prohibited.  For games played only in Plymouth and only for Spring 2007, a referree can allow a player to wear garments with pockets.  In Fall 2007 and afterward, pockets will not be allowed.
  4. Shinguards: Are mandatory at all practices and games. Shinguards with padding at the ankles are recommended.
  5. Shoes: Are optional, regular tennis shoes or ones with rubber spikes.
  6. Warm Clothing: Sweat pants and sweatshirts are allowed to be worn under their uniform. If the sweatshirt has a hood it must be tucked into the jersey. Their uniform socks must be over the sweatpants. Knit gloves and hats are also allowed (baseball hats are not permitted).
  7. Casts: No casts of any type are allowed (doctors may not give an ok to play).
    A mouth guard is permitted if nothing is sticking out of their mouth.
  8. Goalies: Only goalies are allowed to wear the following items:
    Soft brim hat: To protect eyes from the sun.
    Knee and elbow pads: Soft padding only.
  9. Referees have final say on clothing that will be allowed.

These items must be removed before he/she can be a field player. Any player who does not abide by these rules will have to leave the field of play until he/she is in the proper attire.
